This photo was taken about a week after her arrival! This is his favorite &#8216;perch&#8217; &#8211; where he waits for a hug and a rub when we get home. He taught her how to play and wrestle! What are they looking for?  Outside chair cushions, stored for winter, they are about to squeeze on top of them.  They are becoming two peas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/alwaysfaithfulbohemians.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/IMG_9792.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-7387b849 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-8d951f1467c6a8da27ce6a8d4df99b2d wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>SHE<\/em><\/strong> actually taught him about puddles and creeks.  They were having &#8216;so-mud-fun&#8217; after a heavy rain!   The next video is NOT for the feint of heart!  Remember how sweetly Shadow played with Bella when she was little?  Well, they BOTH challenge each other!  Bella can run circles around him, but he is bigger and stronger.  It makes me nervous, but they never intentionally hurt each other.  If one or the other yelps, they both immediately stop.  If Bella is the yelper, after a few seconds she immediately eggs him on again with a bite on the neck or butt or leg &#8211; whatever she can get a hold of!  You will see Bella also has a &#8216;safe&#8217; zone under the shed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1372\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 2440 \/ 1372;\" width=\"2440\" controls src=\"https:\/\/alwaysfaithfulbohemians.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/Screen-Recording-2026-05-19-at-7.27.33-PM.mov\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color has-medium-font-size wp-elements-e17301a8200dd68ffa0f0e0dca803bb0 wp-block-paragraph\">Believe me, they love running and wrestling &#8211; nobody got hurt making this video! LOL!  But truly, Shadow can be quite the gentleman.  Bella isn&#8217;t comfortable on her own outside at night (of course, part of it is that we have a bobcat somewhere close by), even though the &#8216;potty area&#8217; is inside a fenced area.  Shadow goes out into the yard first and looks and sniffs around, then he walks back inside the gate and picks up Bella and escorts her out.  He stands guard just 2 or 3 feet from her.  When she is finished, he &#8216;covers&#8217; her spot, and then walks her back into the house.  I have watched this numerous times.  Even their babysitter has commented on how much they truly love each other.
